Easter at Platypus Bay - a natural wonder



Platypus Bay was spectacular.

Sunset Platypus Bay Thursday April 17th, 2014 after anchoring north of Coongul Creek.

The sand was so white it turned pink at sunset

Crocodiles on the beach (peat actually).
Peat bog at Towoi swamp - Easter Sunday.
The fresh water on Fraser Island is  leached with tannins, but the water visibility in the bay was up to 7 metres.
